If you never get out the boat, you’ll never walk on water.
Who I am? Well, I have hopes, dreams, aspirations, and desires like any other person. The only difference is that I am fighting for what I know I have been called to do. I have a heart for the brokenhearted, for women and children who have experienced abuse, and for the homeless people of the world. I don’t allow the odds to defy the woman that I am. The fact that I am African American and a woman doesn’t mean I can’t reach for the stars. I live life outside the box and with prayer and God, I can do all things. I don’t have a desire to be part of the “norm.” I like to laugh loud, dance crazy, listen to music, go on adventures, and love others with all of my heart. I find myself being emotional and making wrong decisions sometimes and that is Ok. The one thing I know about myself is if I don’t succeed the first time, I’ll continue to try! I refuse to stay down. The past 11 months for me I have found who I am and I’m not compromising that for nothing in the world. I have a powerful testimony and I will NEVER STOP SHARING MY STORY because I am living proof of God’s grace. I’m excited for my next season and my continued journey of life.
